01Who we are

Contspot is a private graphics library and Chrome extension that attaches your saved images to X.com tweets in one click. It's operated as a personal project by the Contspot team. Reach us at hi@contspot.com for anything below.

02Your account

You need a Contspot account to use the service. Authentication is handled by Clerk; your password (or social login) is stored by them, not us. You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for everything that happens under your account.

03What you upload

You keep full ownership of the images you upload. By uploading, you grant Contspot a limited license to store, transform (thumbnails), and serve those images back to you and to the X.com tweets you compose. You're responsible for having the right to upload each image — don't upload anything you didn't create or don't have permission to use.

04Acceptable use

Don't use Contspot to store or distribute content that's illegal, infringing, malicious, or that would violate X.com's terms when attached to a tweet. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.

05Plans and payments

The Free plan is free. The Pro plan is billed monthly through Stripe. You can cancel any time through the Stripe customer portal linked from your dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and we don't issue partial-month refunds.

06Service availability

We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee it. Contspot depends on third-party services (Clerk, MongoDB Atlas, Cloudinary, Render, Vercel, Stripe); outages there will affect us. We're not liable for downtime, data loss caused by upstream services, or for any indirect or consequential damages.

07Account deletion

You can delete your Contspot account at any time from your profile menu. Doing so permanently removes your graphics from our database and from Cloudinary, and ends any active Pro subscription. We can't recover deleted data.

08Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced by email before they take effect. Continued use of Contspot after a change means you accept the new terms.

09Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of your jurisdiction of residence, except where local consumer-protection law gives you stronger rights — in which case those apply.
